So the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, took the hand of the boy and said to him: Are you not satisfied with me being a father and Fatima a sister, Ali, Ali, Al-Hassan and Hussein are two brothers, so the boy knew that he was the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, so he immediately said: How I am not satisfied with that, O Messenger of God, then the Messenger, may God’s prayers, took him He gave him to his house, clothed him with a new garment, and fed him, and he brought happiness in his heart again, so the boy ran between the boys running and playing, and one of the boys said to him: Did you not cry a little while ago? خرج نبينا صلى الله عليه وسلم لأداء صلاة العيد ورأى الأطفال يلهون ويلعبون، وكان هناك طفل يبكي وحده بينهم، وكانت ملابسه ممزقة، فجاء الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم إليه وقال له: لماذا تبكي ولا تلعب مع الأطفال؟ فأجابه الطفل قائلا: قتل والدي في إحدى الحروب الإسلامية، وتزوجت والدتي وأخذت مالي وأخرجتني من منزلي، ولم يكن لدي طعام ولا شراب ولا لباس ولا منزل للإقامة، ورأيت الأطفال يلعبون، فتجمع حزني وبكيت على سوء حظي.

فأخذ النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يد الغلام و قال له: هل توافق على أن أكون لك أبا وفاطمة أختا وعلي عما والحسن والحسين شقيقين؟ عندها تعلم الطفل أنه رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، فقال على الفور: كيف لا أوافق على ذلك يا رسول الله؟ فأخذه رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إلى بيته، وألبسه ثوبا جديدا وأطعمه، وأعاد السعادة إلى قلبه. ثم بدأ الفتى يركض بين الأولاد الذين يلعبون، فقال أحد الأولاد له: ألم تكن تبكي قبل قليل؟ فما الذي جعلك الآن سعيدا ومبتهجا؟ فأجاب اليتيم: كنت جائعا فشبعت، وعريانا فكسوتني، ويتيما فأصبح رسول الله أبي وفاطمة الزهراء أختي وعلي والحسن والحسين إخوتي. ثم قال الأولاد على الفور: لو قتل آباؤنا في الحرب، لنحصل على ما حصلت عليه أنت، وعاش الطفل تحت رعاية الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم حتى توفي. وعندما وصلته نبأ وفاته، خرج من البيت يبكي ويهتف بالتراب على رأسه قائلا: أصبحت الآن يتيما.. أصبحت الآن غريبا. فاهتم أحد الصحابة بكفالته .
